I ordered this light fixture for my breakfast room to replace and ugly ceiling fan the previous owner had installed. It took me a few days and some playing with the wire lengths to get it looking right. I now like a it a lot. I can't place my table directly under the center of a light fixture, however, it is barely noticeable with this fixture compared to a traditional chandelier. I would recommend experimenting with how far you want the bulbs from the center and how long you want the cords before attaching them to the ceiling.

I considered giving this 4 stars ONLY because the included canopy is too small for the hole left when we removed the last light fixture. However, Barrister & Joiner said that they will send me another one once they have the larger canopy in stock. Other than this issue I am very happy with this fixture.

This light is my new kitchen light. Love the rustic/industrial look plus the wood adds its own character! Would like the light bulbs to be a bit brighter but will accomplish that in the future. This light is unique and will fit right in with my kitchen remodel scheme!
