We like the plastic cover some are complaining about, it diffuses the light just enough so a dimmer is not necessary.

Love these pendants! I hesitated in purchasing them because I didn't like the plastic lens. Thankfully Sarah asked if it could be removed and was told that it could. I then purchased three 8" Round Flat Glass, 1/8" from Behrenberg Glass to replace the plastic lenses. It's not a solid fit and will move if some force is pressed up on the glass but I have no intention of pushing up on the glass for fun and I doubt that my guests will either. I was under the impression that the budget would allow for $900 worth of lighting over the island, but my husband told me otherwise. I was thrilled when I found these pendants on Amazon, and they fell within the unrealistic price point that was given to me.

These are absolutely stunning in person!!! I love them! We're so happy with them. We put two over the top of our peninsula and it's perfect. They come with three lengths of tubing and for ours, we only needed one each.
