I really like the look of these, except the shade should be a different color in my opinion. The bases have slight variations in color and shading, as you would expect from cut concrete. They are partially hollow as far as I can tell because they would be much heavier if they were solid concrete all the way through. They have a good weight to them nonetheless. The size is somewhere between a bedside lamp and a regular table lamp.
They came with LED bulbs, which were a nice plus. But I use Philips Hue bulbs for the colors so I didn't need them.
Overall, I like the modern/industrial look to them. But I will eventually purchase different color shades for both.

The lamp arrived in good condition and the supplied bulb/shade combination gives off a soothing soft white light.
Visually, the lamp is a little odd. The base is a pale gray. The shade is a very light brown. The combination just doesn't quite work together. Add in the gold hardware and it has the feel of a parts bin special instead of something that was purposely designed.
I am personally considering putting some dye on the concrete to darken it.

I was able to set this up so that it hangs over my washer/dryer. The cord is long enough for me to get it to a socket on the other side of the laundry tubs. You turn the light on using a switch that is near the plug. It casts the kind of light I need to make sure I catch spots before I put items in the washer and to fold the clean laundry well.

Good night stand light because it's not tipsy. No glare off of the base due to the dull finish. Clean carefully due to the dull finish and somewhat porous concrete material. Due to the neutral color, it should go with any décor. Ample size and heft. Quality shade. LED light bulb included. Instruction sheet says the 10W LED is the maximum bulb - not sure if that's for some environmental certification or an actual limitation of the lamp. The socket and shade look like what you'd see on a lamp rated for a 100W incandescent bulb, or at least 60W. The included bulb puts out plenty of light, but is not dimmable - if you put it on an external dimmer, you'll need to switch to a dimmable bulb. Quality electrics, reasonably long cord, and smooth switch make this lamp easy to use.
We really like it. Highly recommended.
