Pros: the light is great and it looks great in the office. Gives off a lot of light and with the fixture almost flat to the ceiling, the head room appears more ample than the fan light we removed.
Cons: First one had a broken socket that was stripped out. I returned and reordered the light. The second one had a similar socket issue but not as bad. We put glue on it and it stayed in place.
The installation instructions that are included are very poor. I had to refer to the picture online as you have to put the fixture together from a box.
Installation is fairly easy if you have ever installed a light before, just putting the light together was tedious.

Now that it is up I love it and everyone that walks into my home office says its one of the coolest lights that they have seen. But when I opened the box, which is way smaller than I would have ever imagined, I almost sent it back since it comes in a ton of pieces. My contractor took one look and said, "that was not part of the deal, that's on you." To wire all the arms together (I think I had to grab a much bigger wire nut than came with it) is a pretty tricky endeavor, then to get it all shoved up in the housing and attached to the ceiling just brought the difficulty level to 10. Its been up about 6 months and I love it but for the price you would think it would be a little easier to assemble.

The light is gorgeous BUT it comes completely UNassembled! It took my husband and I quite a while to assemble and we are very very experienced home remodelers! LOL
